Henrik Knarborg Larsen

Danish percussionist Henrik Knarborg has performed worldwide and is Head of Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg. Since 2014, he’s revamped the percussion program, focusing on interpretation, body-mind awareness, and e-learning. He’s taught masterclasses globally, including at Juilliard and Sibelius Academy. From 2017–2025, he’s led major artistic research projects funded by the Danish Arts Council.
